A visit to the collections

Explore the ceramic art of several cultures around the world, from 4000 BC to the present day, from the masterpieces of Italian Renaissance maiolica to 20th century art and design, with masters such as Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Legér, Dali, Burri and Fontana.

Support the museum

the MIC preserves a unique ceramic heritage, very important for mankind. Every day we are engaged in projects that serve society and its sustainable development, to promote knowledge, critical thinking, participation and community well-being.

For the schools

“Playing with Ceramics”, a didactic laboratory founded by Bruno Munari, considers the game as the main learning method. Young people of all ages are introduced to ceramics through guided tours and specific workshops.

For adults

Our “Playing with Ceramics” workshop offers a series of workshops to develop creativity and learn ceramic techniques even for those with no experience.

For families

Every Sunday a dedicated family workshop to play together while learning pottery techniques.

R-estate al MIC – CRE estivi

Every summer we offer our summer CREs with workshops and play activities related to ceramics.

For deaf people
