COLORS AND SHAPES OF KOREAN CERAMICS

COLORS AND SHAPES OF KOREAN CERAMICS
2 September - 27 November 2016

Colors and shapes of Korean ceramics curated by Kim Dong, Korean Ceramic Foundation and the Gyeongii Ceramic Museum illustrates the extraordinary richness of the millenarian Korean ceramics. Celadon, porcelain and Buncheong are the typologies characterizing this ceramics and, as a result, the exhibition shows outstanding contemporary works of art made with the ancient techniques of Icheon, a real productive centre in Korea, where more than 300 workshops are still active.

This exhibition represents a synthetic but complete framework of the high level of the Korean ceramic production.
