PYRAMIDAL

FOUR LION'S PAWS

Provenance: acquisition (1970).
Condition: chipping in the glaze, and extensive repairs of the antiquarian
type.

The lower part
consists of closed walls with molding and has an opening originally
meant to hold pens and the ink container. The upper portions are
lightened by small balusters, and at the top, between four obelisks,
is a horse with its front legs resting a top a shield bearing the
Medici coat of arms (painted in lacquer).
