PLATE WTH WIDE CAVETTO, OR CENTRAL PORTION, AND NARROW RIM

Diameter: 24 cm.
Majolica, with blue «zaffera» (s.g.) and green painting in relief.
Faenza, ca. first half of the 15th century.
Found in: Faenza excavation (1928).
Condition: fragmentary, and with small repairs.
Inv. no. 4136.

At the center is a rampant lion, while the remaining surface is decorated with two wide bands containing leaves and berries.
