PAIR OF BOWLS: THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS SPHERICAL; THE ONE ON THE RIGHT HAS ITS MOUTH SLIGHTLY FLATTENED OUTWARDS

Diameter, 14 cm. and height, 5,3 cm. (left-hand bowl); Diameter, 15 cm. and height, 6,8 cm. (right-hand bowl).

Found in: Faenza, excavation (1957).
Condition: fragmentary.
Inv. nos. 7949, 7850.

The left-hand bowl has a sprig of chrysanthemum flowers at the center, and flowering vine-shoots around it, while the right-hand bowl has its center a plantshoot motif - the ancient «arabesque» motif - and a garland of leaves near the rim.
