AZTECHI, MAYA, INCA AND THE CULTURES OF THE ANCIENT AMERICA

The exhibition curated by Antonio Aimi and Antonio Guarnotta, shows more than 300 unique works, some preserved in the MIC storage department and never exhibited before, some others from Italian collections.
From 11th November to 28th April 2019

MIQUEL BARCELÓ

The first real anthological exhibition devoted to the artist’s ceramic production. From May to October 2019 (the exact date is still being defined)

PICASSO, THE CHALLENGE OF CERAMICS

60 unique pieces from the collections of the Musée Picasso in Paris to tell the creative thought of the Spanish artist towards clay.

EDUCATION

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES

Education at the International Museum of Ceramics, is a tool to reach out to schools and families. Many options are available, including hands-on activities in the “playing with ceramic” laboratory, educational tours of the museum displays, and training courses for adults and teachers.

LIBRARY

The Library of the International Museum of Ceramics maintains a collection of publications to offer researchers a wide selection of bibliographic material on ceramic reviews, history, art, and technology.
