The exhibition at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza devoted to the two “electric chairs”
Made by Luigi Ontani and Bertozzi & Casoni is an occasion to observe the potentialities of ceramic art on contemporary society and thought.
Luigi Ontani and Bertozzi & Casoni realized two ceramic sculptures certainly surprising for their excellent execution and creative potentiality, but the works also force the audience to a severe consideration about one of the shame of contemporary society.
The two works will be temporary exhibited at the MIC Foundation and they certainly will capture the interest of the audience for the message they carry: the legalized death is still practiced in many states in spite of the lessons coming from philosophers and thinkers.
The Italian office of Amnesty International accepted to give the patronage to the event and supported it through a text by Riccardo Noury, national responsible for the communication.
Through these sculptures, Luigi Ontani and Bertozzi & Casoni showed their particular sensitiveness and offered to ceramic art a field of action that is wider and wider.
