Muky, who passed away on Jan. 7, 2022, left to Faenza and the MIC Foundation the complex where she lived, consisting of the Loggetta del Trentanove and the Rotonda Galli, with a very specific destination: the House Museum dedicated to the history of the Muky-Matteucci couple and the realization of the “Palace of Arts” dedicated to residencies and exhibitions of international artists. Availing itself of the option provided by Muky in the deed of donation of the Palace, the MIC Foundation, in order to acquire the necessary resources to realize the above-mentioned destinations, decided to lease part of the spaces of Muky Palace. Through a notice of a purely exploratory nature, the MIC Foundation therefore launched a market survey aimed at acquiring expressions of interest in leasing part of the office space located on the second floor of Muky Palace (under the conditions indicated in the notice itself). The proposed leased space, which is of great artistic value and bound under the Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape, has a separate entrance on Maiolica Street no. 2. It consists of 7 rooms, including a newly renovated bathroom. The spaces allow a total number of 14 desks to be included. There is provision for an additional room to be used as an archive/storage room/storage room. At the venue, maintenance work aimed at re-functionalizing the space is currently underway, and therefore the lease can be started – indicatively – from November 1, 2024. The MIC Foundation will only consider expressions of interest offering an annual fee above the amount of 21,600.00 euros. The possibility is offered to lease, together with the premises, two parking spaces within the courtyard facing onto June 2 Square, at an annual rent of Euro 1,200.00 each. The full notice, together with floor plans of the premises, can be found here Interested parties can send their expression of interest to segreteria@micfaenza.org no later than September 19, 2024, indicating in the subject line “Expression of interest for office lease Palazzo Muky.” For information: mgziccardi@micfaenza.org – tel. 0546 – 697318, 0546 – 697325.
