Last chance to raise funds for the realization of the Muky-Matteucci House Museum project.

Muky artist, poet and writer, who passed away on Jan. 7, 2022, bequeathed to the Muky Matteucci Palace MIC Foundation, an important complex with a very specific testamentary destination, which is to have two purposes: the Muky Matteucci House Museum, destined for the history of these two singular artists, a museum that will collect their works, and the Palace of the Arts, dedicated to international artists’ residencies, a cultural center open to students and artists from all over the world.

After the great success of the past “Garage sale” on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Palazzo’s inner courtyard (Piazza 2 Giugno, 7, in Faenza) will host the last market that will offer for sale clothes, bags, hats and items from the spring-summer collection that belonged to the artist.

For the city of Faenza and the art community, the palace will be an important attractor, a unique place that can truly be an Italian excellence.

MIC Faenza is working on the implementation of the project by cataloging and selecting the most significant material, and in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture of Cesena, is preparing an initial plan of conservative restoration work, which will be submitted to the relevant Superintendency.
