Valentina Mazzotti: Wine in the Middle Ages between production and consumption
Which wines were produced and how were they drunk in medieval times? Also with the help of written sources and pictorial representations of the period, we will focus on aspects related to the path of wine between production and its arrival on the table, considering containers and vessels in use during the Middle Ages for its preservation and consumption.
The journey to discover the consumption of wine and water through ceramics proposed by the exhibition “Joy of Drinking” continues at MIC in Faenza with the “Talks Joy of Drinking”.
From February 8 through April 23, eight lectures given by the exhibition’s curators (and others) explore the themes already developed in the exhibition.
