Giacinto Cerone, Sculpture

A sui generis heir to the spirit of Martini, Fontana and Valentini, Cerone is a great interpreter of contemporary sculpture interpreted through the use of different materials, in a continuous experimentation. The artist physically enters the material, upsetting it to offer it new possibilities. He reads with care the tradition of the past, adapting the earth to new situations, with sometimes amazing results where an original material dimension of figuration emerges.
