Mimmo Paladino, Portal

Mimmo Paladino created and donated the large entrance portal to the MIC in 2013 to celebrate the Unesco nomination obtained in 2011 as “Museum witness to ceramic art in the world”. The portal tells the story of the museum and ceramics through symbols, decorations, materials and colours. Underneath is the inscription “1908”, the date of foundation of the Museum.
