On Friday, June 24, 2022, Marie Gabrielle Muheim, known to all as Marielle, passed away in Bologna. She was born in France in 1929.
The Museum and the educational workshop “Playing with Ceramics” remember her with infinite affection and gratitude for her unceasing work in popularizing the educational method “playing with Art” applied to ceramic materials, graphic-pictorial materials, elements of Nature, salvaged-recycling materials and textiles, throughout the entire history of our workshop, from its beginnings in 1979 – commissioned by Bruno Munari – to the last course for adults and teachers that she held at MIC in 2011.
From 2001 to 2006 he had the specific task of coordinating the Museum’s educational activities, revitalizing games and experiments with children and young people up to refresher and training courses for university students, teachers and parents, always in the light of Munari’s fundamental experiences at Brera in ’77.
