Second of the study days organized on the occasion of the bicentenary of Felice Giani’s death (1823-2023) and the fiftieth anniversary of the state’s purchase of Palazzo Milzetti in Faenza (1973-2023), in collaboration between the Emilia-Romagna Regional Museums Directorate and Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna, Department of Arts.
The day on October 12 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.), which will be attended by leading scholars of Felice Giani and Neoclassicism, will be devoted in particular to the artist’s relations with other important protagonists of his era. Also among the speakers is our conservator Valentina Mazzotti who will give a lecture entitled “Ceramics in the time of Felice Giani.”
